It’s not that often that anyone gets a chance to check out the inside of the Julia Boyer Reinstein Center. That’s because the building houses administration services for The Buffalo History Museum, so unless you’re an employee, chances are you have never been in inside the center. And that’s unfortunate, because it’s a pretty cool place.
If you’ve ever passed by the Reinstein Center (facing Elmwood Avenue along Scajaquada Creek), and wondered what the deal was, we have an opportunity for you to see what it’s all about this holiday season.
On January 21, 2014 from 1pm-3pm, the public is invited to visit the History Museum and the Reinstein Center (circa 1920) to explore Santa’s Village during the Winter Solstice.
For $5, you get into the museum and the Holiday History Open House.
Check out the show-stopping Santa’s Village, staged by NYC designer Alejandro Aquilar.
Build a snowman outside and then step inside and warm up with cocoa and cookies!
