Wild Mad Chi Wow Wow @ BOX Gallery

A new gallery has sprung up at 667 Main Street in Downtown Buffalo. I found out about the gallery after learning than an incredibly talented artist by the name of Jeffrey Vincent had returned to Buffalo after being away for a few years. When Jeffrey left this city I considered it to be a big blow for our neck of the woods.

When I heard that he had recently returned, and was working on opening a small gallery, I was thrilled. “BOX Gallery is a space the Jon Piret (the manager of Hostel Buffalo/Niagara) and I put together a few months back,” Jeffrey told me. “It is presently a community exhibition space where we can showcase local talent and enrich our downtown community. We also have a mural project inside of the Hostel itself.”

If you are interested in seeing this new BOX Gallery, then you’re in luck because this evening there is an opening reception for one of Buffalo’s renowned artists, Peter Fowler.
