Introducing “Drive Stein”

Leave it to Buffalonians to take the art of drinking and love of football to the next level. Everyone knows that Buffalo is a drinking town with a football problem, so why not combine the two, and take the combination past the bars and the tailgates.

Introducing Drive Stein.

Drive Stein is currently being featured on the popular gizmo site, which is just one indicator that the drinking game/beer mug’s time has finally arrived.

“[Drive Stein] is selling across the country,” says the product’s inventor, Cale Switzer. “I think it’s going to become a staple on football Sundays in households across the country, but I want more Buffalo pride to be ingrained into the product. I have lived in Buffalo since I was 5, and am proud to be part of Buffalo’s rising!”

How it works? Oh yeah. All you need is the Stein, some beer, and a football game. Then… are you ready? Drink where the ball goes! Thankfully for our livers, you only drink on first downs (or as they are called in the game “Thirst Downs”). Pick a team, and drink “only” when your players are on offense (you can see all of the rules here).

“We come from Buffalo, NY – a drinking town with a sports problem & the tailgate is a way of life around here. So fill up a Stein, sit back, enjoy the game & ALWAYS drink responsibly.” – Drive Stein Team

Drive Stein sells for $14.99 and could be the perfect gift this holiday season for your beer guzzling, football loving friend. You can order the mug by clicking here.

Go Bills! Go Beer! Go Buffalo!
