2014 Freezer 5K

Running races in Buffalo are held year round, regardless of the weather. Heck, as long as there are hardy souls running throughout the winter, then why not give them some challenges, right?

On Sunday, December 14th at 11am, the 2014 Freezer 5K will be held, starting at Buffalo Iron Works on Illinois Street in the Cobblestone District, next to First Niagara Arena.

This is your chance to be healthy and competitive at a time of year when most people are thinking about shopping, drinking and eating. Wear some warm running gear, or a pair of shorts if that is your game. Throw on a Santa hat or an elf costume, and get to the waterfront for a fun and exciting holiday season 5K like no other.

More information can be found here.
