Do you love BreadHive Bakery? Do you love Resurgence Brewery? Do you love fresh baked bread and pretzels? How about Alton Brown? If all of these things are making your tummy growl, then maybe you should be paying closer attention to BreadHive Bakery happenings.
First off, BreadHive is making an appearance at Resurgence Brewery on Friday, where they will be serving up baked goods, including delicious pretzels. The bakery will also be doling out spent grain oat porridge bread with herbed ricotta, RBC pumpkin ale bread with maple/pumpkin cream cheese dip, sourdough crackers with First Light chevre and Cabot Cheese and olives,
and sourdough pretzels served with Betty Crockski “meystard”. It’s great to see these West Side business operations teaming up together to create a synergy with their culinary offerings. Resurgence is brewing a special beer for the occasion, and the band Pine Fever will be playing at the event.

In other BreadHive news, this past week celebrity chef and television personality Alton Brown was in Buffalo for a gig at University at Buffalo. Thanks to the owners of Public Espresso, Alton made a stopover to BreadHive. While in town Alton got to try a Brazilian pour over by Public and a sourdough bagel with chèvre made by BreadHive. Apparently he was smitten with both.
