Thee Witches’ Sabbath

Sugar City is still putting some finishing touches on its new venue on Niagara Street, but in the meantime Sugar City events are still being scheduled at alternate locations.

On Friday, October 17, 2014, from 6:00pm – 10:00pm, Sugar City and Tsalal Productions Ltd. are hosting “Thee Witches’ Sabbath” at Ocean Garden Oriental Foods, located at 1235 Niagara Street. Video artist Florian-Ayala Fauna says that the event will entail “dark arts, infernal realms and beings, esoteric electronics, night demons, black jackals, Baphomet, and Great Beasts rising to the sound of dark ambient and experimental sounds.”

This is the perfect mid-October event to get you blood pumping for Halloween. $5 at the door gets an evening with Lussuria, uncertain, Oxygen Starvation and The Americanomicon. Live projections and freaky visuals will round out the show.

Here’s what you can expect to find:

Lussuria (Dark ambient from the East coast, Hospital Productions)

uncertain (Buffalo occult post-industrial, ritual ambient)

Oxygen Starvation (Buffalo experimental electronics)

The Americanomicon (Rochester experimental drone)
