The Witches Ball – Maps, Entertainment Schedule, and some Last Minute Add Ons

There are a few new additions to The Witches Ball this year, including a video bitmapping project that is being conducted by VJ Alma Deliria. A last minute decision was made to incorporate a bitmapping sequence that will turn one giant wall in the Grand Ballroom into a series of isolated moving images, with a 20 minute segment on a loop. Here’s a sneak peek:

The Witches Ball also commissioned videographer Jim Bush to put together a video short that he shot at the Lafayette Hotel and on top of the Lafayette Hotel. A longer version will be playing at the event, but here’s a preview clip for that has been hitting the social media circles:

For those of you who already have your tickets for the masquerade ball, here’s the schedule for Friday’s show. Schedule flyers will also be handed out at the front door. And yes, there are some male burlesque dancers this year, in case you were wondering.


This year’s ball will include DJ Mike Sunglasses in the Grand Ballroom with Eye Candy Burlesque and Kickstart Rumble. Black lights and low lying fog machine will add some theatrics. More lasers and movie projectors (showing a Jim Bush original film made for the event). Free chocolate fountain (Nickel City Novelties) in the Macabre Gallery (Mark Madden). Live S&M photo shoot in the new Groom Service Beauty Bar. Bar by Butterwood in the Main Lobby, along with DJ All Day Jon Lay and flash mob/dance numbers by Foxy Diamondz. Art Coffins by Madd Loco. Fleuron Rouge Belly Dancers. John Harris and Cirque du Lumiere in the Courtyard Room (upstairs). Dan Harper and Magic Show in Pan Am. Séance and fortune tellers upstairs with Mason Winfield’s psychic fair (Greenhouse Room). Magic Mike burlesque squad. TWP Dancers on the Main Stage. Live bands – Bipoloroids, Zuri and her Freakshow (Crystal Ballroom). Food catered by AcQua. Food and drink lounge by Bourbon & Butter (Lobby Bar). Pan Am and Butterwood are open. Special surprises in store.
