After launching the first annual Essex Party in 2013 the Ashford Hollow Foundation is back at it for our second annual autumn warehouse party at the Essex Arts Center, located on Buffalo’s West Side.
On Saturday, October 18, at 7:00 p.m., the cool warehouse spaces of the Essex Arts Center, will be the location for The Essex Party, a music and art party to benefit the Ashford Hollow Foundation. Guests can roam the warehouse and studio spaces during an evening that will feature live music, dancing, video projections, artistic displays and a cash bar. Essex Arts Center is located at 30 Essex Street, Buffalo, NY 14213. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online (griffispark.org) or at the door.
Benefits the Ashford Hollow Foundation, which operates the Griffis Sculpture Park and the Essex Arts Center. The arts center provides arts and education programming for hundreds of WNY school students each year. The facility is also home to Big Orbit Gallery, as well as living and studio spaces for artists.
The former ice house, turned arts center, will host the following bands: Fredtown Stompers, Aircraft, The Observers and the 12/8th Path Band. The belly dance troupe Fleuron Rouge will be performing as well.
