The restaurant will occupy 4,000 sq.ft. of ground floor space in the eight-story One Canalside building owned by Benderson Development. Pizza Plant will join Phillips Lytle and the 102-room Courtyard by Marriott that opened in May. It will be located at the north end of the building and feature an entrance off of the Main Street plaza, a central bar area, two dining areas to the sides, and a ‘grab and go’ counter for take-out. Sutton Architecture designed the space which is now out for bid.

Pizza Plant would join other planned or existing food options in the immediate Canalside area such as (716) Food and Sport, HARBORCENTER’s upcoming 13,000 sq.ft. sports bar and restaurant, a Tim Horton’s in HARBORCENTER at Main and Scott that opens next week, the existing Liberty Hound restaurant at the Naval and Military Park, and Lagerhaus 95 at 95 Perry Street.
