Once your sugar high has faded away, there’s nothing like getting right back into the cultural swing of things.
This Sunday is Japan Culture Day (Bunka no Hi) in Buffalo. The celebration of peace, freedom and culture takes place at the Buffalo History Museum, where presentations of anime, origami and Japanese folk dance will be underway in the auditorium (12:30 – 1:30 pm). Then, in the Great Hall, guests will be able to participate in a wide array of cultural activities, including tea, folk dolls, origami, ikebana, calligraphy and Japanese language lessons (1:30 – 2:30 pm).
Admission to The History Museum is free for Bunka no Hi.
Japan Culture Day will be celebrated on Sunday, November 2nd at The Buffalo History Museum from 12:30 -2:30.

*Visitors are encouraged to stroll through the Japanese Garden before and after the event. The cool fall weather has turned the garden into a cornucopia of autumn colors.
