For those of you who don’t feel like taking your kids on the traditional Trick-Or-Treat routes, the Elmwood Village is offering, once again, a chance to walk up and down the street and hit up the businesses for candy and treats (not tricks as far as I know). It’s a fun and social way to get the entire family out for an outing like no other around.
On Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m, the Elmwood Village Association’s ‘Safe Trick-or-Treat’ will kick into high gear, when hundreds of spooky kids (dressed in costumes of course) will take to the sidewalks in search of small businesses that post signs reading “Get Your Treats Here’ in the windows.
The event is for children 10 years old and under, and a semblance of a costume is required t0 get treats. This parental guided walk is a ton of fun for the little ones, and is also a great way for parents to congregate and have some laughs along the way.
