A BRO reader has asked that we share a couple of images that were recently posted on Governor Cuomo’s Twitter feed…
The reader noticed that the latest rendering of the RiverBend project to be released by the administration doesn’t exactly match up with the futuristic version that was originally presented. This latest rendering looks a lot more clunky than streamlined. There was nothing said about the image, other than…
“The former Republic Steel site at RiverBend vs. the new @SolarCity GigaFactory at RiverBend to come.” #TheNewBuffalo
Hopefully, we don’t get the old bait and switch, as has happened in the past (Federal Courthouse glass anyone?) The jobs are on their way. The billions are coming. Let’s hope that the end design is befitting of “New Buffalo” too.
Maybe this is an early rendering that was used as a ‘place holder’ for the actual design? And it is somehow making the rounds to show the land massing and proximity of the building to the water? Or maybe this is the stripped down version that we will someday see along the Buffalo River. It would be nice to know which version we are getting – the one above, or the one below?
