The schedule has been announced for the first annual Budding Tree Yoga Festival, which is set to be held at Canalside on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Yogis from around the region will be praying for sun and warm weather, as hundreds will congregate at the waterfront from 9am to 6pm.
Bring a yoga mat and water, and dress in accordance with yoga-friendly activities, and the rest is easy breezy lemon squeezy.
The festival is free, open to the public, and welcomes all ages and yoga abilities. The original date for the event was scheduled for July, but was canceled due to inclement weather.
Come check out the yoga scene in Buffalo, and participate in health & wellness workshops and a variety of yoga-related lifestyle activities. There will be a vendor marketplace and live music too. Here’s the schedule for the yoga classes, and the breakdown of each class (subject to change):

The 2014 Budding Tree Yoga Festival is being presented by Budding Tree Yoga for Kids, with the support of The Himalayan Institute, BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, Wegmans, the Mindful Market, Kiddie Corner Child Care Center, Inc., and Canalside Buffalo.
Canalside Buffalo is located adjacent to the Naval Park, First Niagara Center, and the Buffalo River. For GPS use 44 Prime Street, Buffalo NY 14203 as destination address. There is ample parking located in surface lots and ramps around the Arena, and on-street and metered parking. Visitors are encouraged to take the Metro Rail for easiest access.
