One thing that Buffalonians are really good at is partying for a cause. There are a lot of causes, which means that there is a lot of partying. Not just in the spring and the summer, but throughout fall and winter.
On Friday, October 17, 2014, the Hospice Foundation of Western New York will be hosting its 14th Annual Harvest Festival at the Adam’s Mark Hotel. The festival is considered part wine tasting gala, part craft beer soiree, and part local food affair. This year’s theme is “There’s No Taste Like Home!” – from Wicked Witch Wings to Beef on Weck (a favorite of flying monkeys).
Come take a trip to Oz, and experience an evening filled with dinner, a live auction, desserts and dancing.
In the end, the themed festival, presented by the Buffalo Bills, is a fundraiser for Hospice Foundation of Western New York, the organization that helps to care for and comfort those who are facing a serious illness.
