For the second year in a row, an art festival will be held on the East Side of the city. The Jefferson Arts Festival is presented by Masten Block Club Coalition & 50 Women with a Vision, along with Masten District Councilmember Demone Smith. The growing festival features a wide range of arts and performances, including participation from choirs, dance studios, musicians, and poets. The festival takes place on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 12pm until 6pm on Jefferson Avenue between East Utica & East Ferry Streets.
This appears to be the second incarnation of this festival that first got its start as early as 1998.
