Pizza Plant is looking to open in One Canalside at the foot of Main Street. The restaurant would occupy ground floor space in the eight-story One Canalside building owned by Benderson Development. It would join Phillips Lytle and the 102-room Courtyard by Marriott that opened in May. Pizza Plant’s two existing locations are in the Walker Center in Williamsville and on Transit Road near Sheridan Drive.
Business First’s Jim Fink has the story:
The owners of the Pizza Plant in Amherst have confirmed they are negotiating with Benderson Development to occupy the street-level vacant space in the recently-opened One Canalside Building.
“It’s not a done deal, but we are negotiating,” said Robert Syracuse, Pizza Plant owner and president.
Negotiations are expected to wrap up soon and, potentially, the Pizza Plant could be serving its first pod in downtown Buffalo just after the first of the year.
Pizza Plant would join other planned or existing food options in the immediate Canalside area such as (716) Food and Sport, HARBORCENTER’s upcoming 13,000 sq.ft. sports bar and restaurant, a Tim Horton’s planned for HARBORCENTER at Main and Scott, and the existing Liberty Hound restaurant.
