It’s not that often that one runs across a Kickstarter fundraising campaign for an art exhibition. Artists Patricia Brace and Rita Leduc are in the process of creating a site-specific performance, installation, and media exhibit that will take place at Hi-Temp Fabrication, Buffalo, NY, in October 2014.
The Brooklyn-based artists have compiled an interactive show based upon their travels to Buffalo. Audio and video components are both being utilized to tell the story.
“I Like You Better Now is an exhibition that combines performance and installation art throughout the entire 4th floor of the warehouse – 14,000 square feet total,” explains Patricia. “Due to the scale of the space and the timeliness of the exhibition we have decided to run a Kickstarter campaign which can be seen here. *This project will only be funded if at least $5,000 is pledged by Wed, Jul 30 2014 4:04 PM EDT. The project is already partially funded.
The number “389” in the video refers to how many buffalo it would take to fill a 14000 square foot space.
