Barging into the Burch: Opening Thursday Front Yard Blitz

This Thursday marks the kickoff of the 10th Annual Infringement Festival. As part of the special occasion, the celebration gets underway with a big splash on the front lawn of the Burchfield-Penney Art Center.

This is a true dedication to the arts, mainstream, underground and water bound. Not only does the occasion mark an incredible milestone for Infringement, the venue for the artistic explosion is also apropos. Currently, work on the Art Barge floating gallery is underway. Once complete, the Art Barge will find its way from Buffalo to NYC, traveling down the Erie Canal laden with art intended to create a bridge between the cities. Ultimately the Art Barge will find a permanent home at Canalside (see TECCORP).
