Niagara Street is coming alive tonight, with the soft opening of Resurgence Brewery, and the debut of BT&C Gallery in the same building (featuring artist Julian Montague).
I stopped into Resurgence moments ago to snap some photos and talk to owner Jeff Ware. “We’re putting the finishing touches on the place,” he said. “But we’re ready to open later. Beer will be flowing and we’ll be serving up soft pretzels and dipping sauces, [hopefully] English pot pies (see here), and possibly some cheese/meat platters from Martin Cooks. This is Buffalo – we’re all in this together and I want to support the other businesses that are making a go of it.”
Be sure to check out the giant Jenga games!!! Lawn bowling coming soon… and fire pit burning bright.
The brewery’s grand opening will take place later in June.
See BT&C “In Ruins” on Facebook.
Look for Peatonito – the masked Lucha Libre wrestler (and avenger of walkable streets) directing traffic on Niagara Street.
It all takes place at 1250 Niagara Street in Buffalo – see you tonight!
