Finally there is a somewhat comprehensive go-to list for all of us dog lovers out there. Jaclyn McKewan has taken it upon herself to compile a laundry list of stories related to her adventures with her dog named Ren. “Buffalo is a unique location for dog owners – in the winter it’s often too cold for dog parks and long walks (except for the hardier breeds),” says Jaclyn. “But in the summer it is filled to the brim with dog-related events, fundraisers, charity walks, vendor shows, etc.”
Taking a look at all of the info that Jaclyn can cobbled together, it looks as if she has done her research. Plus, the list is up to date and ever growing. “I was inspired by my dog, Ren (named after the cartoon character) to make a website as a resource for Buffalo-Niagara area dog owners,” mentioned Jaclyn. “It lists places where you can bring your dog, like shops and playgroup facilities, which is ideal for dogs who don’t tolerate walks in cold weather, like mine. And it also lists all the local dog events, which you can see on our event calendar or “Upcoming Events” listing.”
If you are a dog owner, and you’ve been searching for a handy guide to dog-friendly adventures, be sure to check out Ren’s List.
