A Stranger in the Street at the Edge of the Earth

This evening you are invited to a free impromptu film screening/performance at Big Orbit Gallery – 30d Essex Street – a gallery that I know is relatively obscure when it comes to the main stream art crowd. As part of the performance, composer/musician Todd Lesmeister will be conducting a soundscape element that will surely captivate anyone who visits (feature guest musician Steve Ryder). Not only is this a chance to see some dreamlike sounds/visuals, and listen to fitting musical accompaniments, it’s also a chance to visit and support Big Orbit, a gallery that has stood the test of time and continues to press the envelope locally.
