True Defective – The 25th Artists & Models Affair

After watching almost the entire series of True Detective in one sitting, I was happy to see that Hallwalls was planning its own artistic spin on the show. In true Artists & Models fashion, the 2014 event is called True Defective. Each year Hallwalls hunts down obscure locations in the city to host the outrageous and outlandish artistic affair, from parking ramps to abandoned factories. This year the event is being held at The Garage – 151 E. Eagle Street, Buffalo.

“Give me your freaks, your dreamers,
Your huddled misfits yearning to be brilliant,
The artistic frivolity of your teeming city.
Send these, the weirdos, with temporary psychosis to me,
I open the gates of The Garage to all inner defectives.”

Since 1975, Hallwalls has led the way to gathering the creatives, and the appreciators of the creatives, together to celebrate artistic strengths and differences. Join together on Saturday, June 21 at 9:00 pm for True Defective – The 25th Artists & Models Affair.
