Food truck season starts this Tuesday, with Larkinville rallying hungry Buffalonians to explore the various food options offered up at the infamous weekly rally. The event was a hit right out of the gate, and continues to grow in popularity. This year there are more food trucks than ever, offering up an international food court of sorts, to anyone with an adventurous palate, or simply in need of a cup of gelato. “We were thrilled to see the community embrace Food Truck Tuesdays in such large numbers last year,” said Larkin Square Director of Fun Leslie Zemsky. “The fun is only going to grow this year – and now, with the Healthy Options program, our hula hoops won’t be the only thing helping our guests stay healthy!”
On Tuesday you can expect to join thousands of other food truck fans, who rally around Larkinville’s incredibly fun and outgoing vibe. The season lasts for 26 weeks, and this year there will be on-truck cooking demonstrations, as well as guides to healthy eating options. Per usual the fun will include live music, with plenty of room to sit and relax… or dance to the live sounds delivered by LeeRon Zydeco & the Hot Tamales (playing this Tuesday). You can also test out your hooping ability with hula hoop lessons from Melissa Campbell of Filigree’s. Along with the 30 food trucks, there’s beer, wine, etc, set up at the Larkin Square Grill. And don’t forget about pickle ball!!
