Mapping Out Porchfest

If you’re planning on attending Porchfest this coming Saturday, you may want to check out this handy-dandy online map that shows where the porches are located. As of this time there are 22 porches participating in the event, with a heavy concentration of host houses on Richmond Avenue (click here to see the map).

Porchfest is the ultimate community music event, where homeowners offer up their front porch to musicians who play live music from 1pm-6pm on Saturday, May 17th, 2014. There is no better way to get a feel for the local music scene, while experiencing the friendly neighborhoods in the city of Buffalo.

To see the lineup of bands, and where they are playing, click here, and then scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find a link to a Google Doc with the full schedule of performances (45 total).

If you’re looking for a handheld map, they are available at Hunt Real Estate, 720 Elmwood Avenue.

Hmm.  Anyone have insight on Allentown getting in on the action?  It’s an EVA thing; but what about the Allentown Association teaming up?
