I’m pretty sure that it’s going to be springlike weather by next weekend. Meaning that the temperatures are going to be warm enough to chill at the Second Annual Springfest at the Marcy Casino in Delaware Park. Last year this event was a big success right out of the starting gate. And why wouldn’t it be? With craft beers, live music, great food, and one of the best venues in the city to boot. Plus, $1,000,000 worth of work has been undertaken to make the Marcy Casino an optimum place for parties and events.
“With the weather turning warm and Marcy Casino’s renovations almost complete, we’re excited to reopen the doors and kickoff a new season of [warm] outdoor fun in Buffalo,” said Magnolia Events owner Jason Davidson. “We’ve prepared a party that’s perfect for this place in the park and time of year.”
This year’s Springfest not only boasts margarita and a craft beer bars, it also features a delicious taco bar, serving up a suckling pig, grilled shrimp and chicken, and artisan sausages. Not to mention the live music component showcasing the talents of The Rockaz (reggae), Forealists (party pop-funk), Mohawk Street Saints (starring Geno McManus), and DJ LoPro (breakbeats).
