CooCoo U Warehouse showroom and mid-century modern gallery liquidation sale

ext_building1920px_grandeIf you still have not made it over to the relatively new CooCoo U showroom and warehouse, on the weekend of April 25-27 owner Michael Merisola will be having a monster liquidation sale.

Every once in a while, Michael likes the thin the herd when it comes to expunging large quantities of his massive mid-century collection of chairs, lamps, tables and oddities.

For me, CooCoo U is a home away from home. I find the place absolutely fascinating. Ever since Michael picked up and moved his store from Hertel to Chandler, and created a hybrid between a swank retail gallery and a furniture warehouse, CooCoo U has become a mecca for retro design lovers, attracting collectors and curiosity seekers from far and wide.
