Great American CleanUp 2014

With the snow melt comes the unsightly muck and mire that suddenly reveals hidden debris that has accumulated throughout the winter. In the springtime there are a great many cleanups scheduled, but there’s no time like the present to get out there and clean up our commercial and residential districts.

If you’re one of those people who just can’t wait for someone else to do it, consider setting up a Great American CleanUp event (GAC2014). You can do this with your neighbors, friends, coworkers, block club, or any other people/groups that are willing to help. It’s as easy as identifying your team, choosing a date and a time (where the garbage should be picked up), registering your group with GAC2014, and picking up your supplies.

Don’t forget to Keep Western New York Beautiful (KWNYB – see Facebook)

*KWNYB provides you with trash bags, gloves, and hand sanitizer. Events can take place anytime from NOW to May 31, but you must register before May 31st to receive free supplies.

Complete the registration form to secure materials for your group.

Follow KWNYB on Facebook for details about material pickup, flower donations and other beautification opportunities this Spring

There are two ways to register your event:

-Call 311 (City of Buffalo residents) or 716-851-4890(everyone)

-Send the following info to:
