Funtime AfterDark has announced a couple of preliminary Outer Harbor shows this summer that should bring the heat to the waterfront. For those who made it to a show last summer, the site at the Outer Harbor is a welcome addition to the outdoor live music scene in Buffalo, and allows the promoters to attract music acts that might not be able to come to Buffalo otherwise. I asked Donny Kutzbach of Funtime AfterDark a few questions about the mammoth stage that is set up in order to pull off the shows, and he sent along some of the impressive specs:
Stage by Mountain Productions Stage
Main Stage 64′ wide X 57′ deep
Stage Wings each side 17′ wide X 49′ deep
Overall Stage Width 98′
Stage is 5′ tall
Roof is 35′ Tall
Loading Dock for up 6 Trucks. 3 each side of platform 30′ X 14′ at dock height
Roof can handle 35,000 lbs of Sound and Lights
All Aluminum Stage Front Barricade
Now that you’ve got the lowdown on the stage setup, here’s news of two shows that are currently being promoted:
