In an effort to have fun and stay warm in the winter, Duracell Battery has some up with an ingenious solution for people looking to reenergize while waiting for the bus.
If anyone at the NFTA is listening, here is a great opportunity to make a marketing splash with your customers (and your target audience). The concept is easy. In order to activate the heat source, one person must put his or her hand on the ‘plus’ part of the battery (on one side of the bus stop), and another person must put his or her hand on the ‘minus’ part of the battery (on the opposite wall of the bus stop). Then, a third person stands in the middle of the first two, and everyone holds hands. With the middle person acting as the conductor, the bus stop heats up and everyone gets warm.
In the end, it only takes three people holding hands to get the heater to work – friends or strangers, and that conserves energy when no one is at the stop. In the City of Good Neighbors, that shouldn’t be too hard to do.
If you have a fun concept that you are aware of, that would work well in Buffalo, feel free to send me the idea. You can email it to Newell@BuffaloRising.com. Be sure to add ‘Bring it to Buffalo’ as the subject.
