The Queer Women’s Book Club

Pride-Home-Buffalo-NYBack in September I wrote about The Gay Men’s Summer Book Club (see here).

Since that time another alternative book club has sprung up, and is looking for new members. It’s the Queer Women’s Book Club, a group focused on reading and discussing books that revolve around various alt women’s lifestyles including queer, gay, bi, lesbian (subject matter, authors, etc.).

Alternative lifestyle women are encouraged to participate in the book club and are invited to attend a general interest meeting on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 7pm @ the new home of The Pride Center of WNY– 200 South Elmwood Avenue (inset photo – Pride’s new home).

You can find out more by calling Pride at 716-852-7743

Congratulations to The Pride Center for finding a beautiful, historic new Victorian home circa 1854 on Elmwood Avenue in Downtown Buffalo. The house is already the center of programming activities and services, and the pairing of the steadfast organization and exquisite architecture  is a marriage made in heaven.
