It’s not often that you can go out to dinner and walk away with the plate from which you ate your meal. It doesn’t matter how nice the plate is… it’s just not the right thing to do. Unless, of course, you plan on attending Plates & Pasta, a dinner party where guests are expected to walk away with their plates! That’s because the event host, Buffalo Arts Studio (BAS), commissions local renowned artists to create one-of-a-kind plates for the dinner guests, who then take them home as artistic trophies in remembrance of the evening. It’s a win-win for the guests and the artists, because all of the proceeds raised at the event benefit BAS.
Plates & Pasta: Presented by Buffalo Arts Studio
What: Wine and beer, bread, salad, dessert, and coffee. And a gourmet pasta dinner served on a work of art. A one-of-a-kind plate that’s yours to take home. This year’s event will include a silent auction featuring unique plates created by renowned local artists.

Plate Decorating Parties:
Friday, February 21 & 28 @ 5:30-8 pm.
Come decorate a plate with underglaze pencils and paint! All materials and refreshments will be provided by BAS.
Facilities: This event is wheelchair accessible. Free parking is available in the visitors lot on Halbert Street.
