Our love of water should come naturally living in Buffalo. After all, we are surrounded by it, and each year our resources become cleaner and more abundant. But how much do you really know the water? The only way to get to know it is to interact with it any way possible – recreation is just one component. We must also consider habitat restoration, water quality, urban planning, etc.
For those of us who are looking to learn about all the Niagara River watershed, you should consider signing up for the Spring 2014 River Academy, which begins this Saturday, January 25th. There are only a few more spaces available in the academy, and Riverkeeper is looking for interested parties to consider the opportunity. Once you sign up, the classes (taught by local experts) will run on Saturdays
