Pretty soon Larkinville is going to have to expand just to accommodate all of the new food trucks hitting the market. The Food Truck Tuesdays events will be quite the scene in 2014 if all of the trucks decide to partake in the already successful weekly rodeo. According to Buffalo Food Trucks (BFT – website), the latest traveling food purveyor hails from Elma, and will be hitting the downtown market soon enough. Here’s the latest and greatest from Derek Neuland at BFT:
“From the owners of The Blue Lantern Lounge, located at 6120 Seneca St., Elma, comes a new venture that will reach beyond its current brick and mortar location. The new da Blue Food Truck will burst onto the scene in early February, taking a unique “street eats” menu direct to the downtown Buffalo lunch scene. The food truck will be available for catering, private events and house parties based on availability. The slogan “Livin da Dream” is emblazoned on the all sides of the truck.”
The Blue Lantern Lounge is known as ‘the best kept secret in Southtowns, so hopefully the new food truck will help it become a household name. They specialize in American Eclectic Cuisine including several featured dishes including Santa Fe Spring Rolls, Meatloaf, Panko Crusted Banana Peppers, Chicken Tenders, Pan Seared Scallops, Filet Mignon and Pasta De Loco to give you an idea what you might expect to be served at da Blue Food Truck.”
