Buffalo Museum of Science’s 6th Annual Beer Tasting

It’s true, that some events in Buffalo sell out sooner than others. In the case of Beerology, it’s not a question of the event selling out, it’s just how fast. That’s why I don’t even wait until the event approaches to post on it… Beerology is a hot ticket right now, even though the event at the Buffalo Museum of Science doesn’t take place until March of 2014. That’s when beer lovers come together to try out some tasty micro beers, while observing demonstrations on how to brew beer. It’s popular with the beer geeks, and even those who are curious about the world of beer. But don’t wait… Beerology is for the fervent beer lovers who get it together early enough to land their tickets.

If you’re interested in reserving your tickets, or learning more about this great beer event, click here.

The event takes place on Saturday, March 8 from 7:00 to 10:00pm at the Museum (1020 Humboldt Parkway, Buffalo). The event is for adults 21 and over only, and benefits Educational Programming at the Museum and Tifft Nature Preserve. General admission includes 10 drink tickets good for one 3 oz. beer tasting each. Additional drink tickets may be purchased starting at 7pm. Tickets also include a commemorative beer glass, unlimited food sampling from some of Buffalo’s best restaurants and food trucks, live entertainment, and access to the Museum’s permanent exhibits and galleries. VIP ticket holders may also enjoy early entry at 6pm and access to the exclusive VIP Beer Room for special beer tastings, “Cooking with Beer” demonstrations with local chefs, and more!

Tickets are $35 for Museum members, $40 for non-members or $60 for VIP (only 200 available) and can be purchased online at or by calling 716-896-5200 ext. 359. Designated driver tickets are also available for a reduced price, and can be purchased by phone only (call for details). This event has sold out every year since 2008, so tickets may not be available at the door.
