If you were one of the millions of Americans that received video games for Christmas, Chanukkah, etc., this year, last year, and for as long as you can remember, then maybe you have amassed quite a collection of games. But I would imagine that you’re still nowhere near setting a Guinness Book World Record for the largest video game collection in the world. That’s because you’re not Michael Thomasson, a Canisius College professor who has managed to capture the title for himself. Thomasson’s collection 10,607 video games, along with every console known to man, has earned him a place in the annals of video ‘gamedom’.
