Isn’t it great to see that architecture and brewing can coexist so nicely together. That’s how writer Bryen Dunn at PinkPlayMags (LGBTQ Totonto, GTA & Ottawa zine) is portraying Buffalo – a place to go check out incredible architecture, while at the same time spending time sampling beers at bustling destinations such as Pearl Street and The Hotel @ The Lafayette. Mentions of Big Ditch Brewing, Flying Bison relocating to Larkinville, Southern Tier, Community Beer Works, Cosmic Frog Handcrafted Ales and Ellicottville Brewing Company, all made the print, as did some of Buffalo beer-lovers’ favorite haunts. RiverWorks and Labatt US headquarters round out the buffalo beer goodness. There’s a lot going on these days. So much so that there is even more brewing news in the works such as Resurgence and First Ward Brewing at Gene McCarthy’s – Bryen will just have to make a return trip. The fun-loving article points out Buffalo bands, architecture, arts, and an overall well rounded look at the region – check it out!
Maybe we should be capitalizing on our Queen City image a little but more?
