Before you go out and buy all of the name brand, cookie cutter items for the holidays, be sure to put aside some time for some thoughtful shopping. In Buffalo, we are lucky to have a number of holiday bazaars featuring unique, handmade items. The first that we’re showcasing is The Western New York Book Arts Center’s 6th Annual Last Minute Panic Holiday Marketplace. This is certainly one of the places where you will find thoughtful gifts for the people in your lives who appreciate crafts made by artisans right here in Buffalo. This year, along with crafty artisans, you will also be rewarded with food from Buffalo’s beloved Lloyd Taco Truck.
Also new this year is the opportunity to create your own custom beautiful letterpress off-cuts and decorative papers, right at the center (suggested donation for craft is $5 per person.) Now that’s about as original as you’re going to find anywhere!
The Western New York Book Arts Center’s 6th Annual Last Minute Panic Holiday Marketplace will be held on Friday, December 13th from 4-8pm & Saturday, December 14th from 12-6pm at the WNY Book Arts Center, 468 Washington Street in downtown Buffalo.
This event is free and open to the public.
