Get ready for a night of hot licks and heavy laughs, as one of Buffalo’s favorite comedy troupes teams up with a hometown favorite band for a memorable event at the Burchfield-Penney Art Center.
Since 1998, The Eclectic Improv Company has been delivering completely original on-the-fly performances solely based on audience suggestions and ideas generated in real time. That means that there is no preparation, no time to think about direction, and in the end, nothing else like it.
On Thanksgiving weekend (Fri the 29th and Sat the 30th), the boys of comedy will be hooking up with The Albrights to produce “The Fantastic Comedy Machine”, where the band will be improvising right along with the comedians, while featuring some of the tunes that have helped to land the musicians top honors in the Buffalo music scene.
Tickets are $20 and worth every penny as you are drawn into the minds of characters that are tasked with pleasure of delivering lots of laughs via improv skits that incorporate games, music and songs in a way that is completely new to you… and even them!
