If you’re involved with the non-profit community, then you know how important it is to find design professionals that are not only talented, but understand what it means to be a non-profit.
On Tuesday, October 15th, 2013 at 6pm at the Hotel @ The Lafayette in downtown Buffalo, The Buffalo Architecture Foundation is partnering with Cannon Design’s Open Hand Studio to host its third Meet and Match – a free event that will set out to spark discussions and ideas about community-based design in Buffalo. According to organizers, “The goal of the Meet and Match is to set the stage for potential partnerships between over 50 local Buffalo design professionals and members of the non-profit community. The evening will highlight successful project partnerships, share potential project ideas in the Buffalo area and provide participants with a wealth of knowledge on what resources are available for pro bono design in Buffalo. Attendees can discover organizations at their own pace, enjoy refreshments and “Meet and Match,” – meet someone new and match skills with needs! The event is free to anyone who registers and there will be food and drinks provided as well.”
