By now, we’re a couple of days into Local Restaurant Week (October 21-27, 2013), which means that Buffalonians have been out and about trying some of their favorite places… and getting to know a few of the new faces on the scene. As you go about your business, paying just a few bucks for meals that would generally set you back more, choosing among over 200 locally owned restaurants, let there be room for dessert in a setting filled with more (or less) than you bargained for. Sometimes it’s a crap shoot trying to figure out which restaurants really go the extra mile to offer up excellent fare, for just $20.13.
Here’s a list of participating restaurants if you still haven’t made up your mind. If you’ve already been there and done that, then you may be the lucky one. Many of the restaurants are already booked up for the remainder of the week… but there’s always next time, and the time after that. Enjoy the experiences and let’s hope that the places that you visit fulfill your expectations, as they should. After all, this is an excellent opportunity to gain the loyalty of customers who might not otherwise choose to dine at restaurants that, to some, may appear to be a bit foreboding for a number of reasons.
