Dog, Bless You 2013

Come one, come all… pets that is. All pets, no matter how big or how small, are welcome to another annual pet blessing at Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 1pm-1:30pm. Reverend Drew Ludwig will conduct the group ceremony on the front lawn of the church (corner of Elmwood and Lafayette) as he does each year, before the pet procession begins.

In the past, people have brought, dogs, cats, birds… it’s a day that everyone gets along and everyone walks away feeling a wee bit better for having been communally and individually blessed.

“Come have your pet blessed. Blessing will be by, Rev. Drew, pastor of Lafayette Ave. Presbyterian church, but people (and pets) of any or no faith are welcome and will be treated with respect. There will be a short prayer service that starts at 1pm, followed by individual blessings. Weather permitting, we’ll gather on the Lafayette lawn, but we will move indoors if the weather is bad (raining cats and dogs).” – Reverend Drew

*Please make sure your pet is safely under your control.
