6th Annual Biketoberfest in Larkinville

Flying Bison and GO Bike Buffalo are once again putting together a Biketoberfest that will have bike and beer lovers talking. This year the team is mixing it up, and will be relocating the festival to Larkinville to take advantage of all of the outdoor resources available, from a covered pavilion to a centrally located beer station.

Biketoberfest will feature live music, pickleball, and of course Rusty Chain on tap, Buffalo’s bike-friendly beer. “Flying Bison is proud of our partnership with GoBike Buffalo,” said Tim Herzog of Flying Bison. “The progress they have made in working with the City of Buffalo to make us a more bikeable, walkable city is easy to spot and benefits every citizen. Biketoberfest is a fundraiser, and awareness raiser, and a long overdue celebration of GoBike’s accomplishments.”

The 6th Annual Biketoberfest is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2013. A $5 admission gets you a complimentary drink ticket, with proceeds benefitting GO Bike Buffalo. Festivities are from 5pm-8pm. Live music by Ten Cent Howl and Blaskapelle (25 piece German band). There will be a bike valet on-hand and free shuttle service from the GO Bike Community Workshop on Colvin Avenue (leaving at 4:30pm) sponsored by Campus WheelWorks.
