This August, we should all make a commitment to explore the natural surroundings at Tifft Nature Preserve, one of the only nature preserves to be found within city limits. There’s a lot going on at Tifft these days, including beaver, bee and bat dwellings, new animal and bird sightings, and of course a bunch of improvements to the Outer Harbor. Each month Tifft offers incredible family-friendly programming designed to get people out into the wilderness to learn about plants and animals and to reunite with nature, which is something that we all need to do from time to time. The best part? For those who need some encouragement in order to embrace their ‘nature side’, Tifft helps to create experiences geared towards making visits even more fun and informative. Check out the August line-up and you’ll see what I mean!
