Locust Street Art has been around promoting art and artists for years. Whether the group is hosting an in-house studio event, or an on-the-road field trip, Locust Street Art is constantly beating the drum where art is concerned. And that’s a good thing, because often times artists don’t have the resources to do it alone. That’s where Locust Street Art really comes into play. The art organization, which was founded in 1959, helps artists to do what they do best – create art. But what makes them special is that the classes are free, and so are the supplies. Those who cannot afford to live a life of an artist are treated to services, facilities and supplies that they would not normally have access to. In this case, sketching supplies and cameras will be provided… as will transportation and inspirational subject matter.
