Sometimes it’s the little things that really count. Like the addition of a ping pong and pool table to The Ruins at Canalside. These types of games are especially popular in parks across the country, and can draw lots of action table-side. Especially when you don’t have time to take a kayak paddle, or you don’t feel like sitting in a lawn chair, a game of pool or ping pong can be a lot of fun and don’t take a great deal of effort.
According to Chris Catanzaro at the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation, “The full debut for both game tables will be at the Canalside Open House this Saturday, May 11th (10am – 4pm). Ping pong and pool will be free to the public (foosball coming soon), but a sign-out system will be utilized for use of all Canalside equipment.
“Canalside Food Fight (food truck competitions) and an outdoor reading cart will also be debuting at our Open House on Saturday.”
