For the love of wine. And the remembrance of spirited times. Join The Buffalo History Museum at the Hotel @ the Lafayette on May 3, 2013 for a celebration of the history of our region. It’s an inaugural fundraiser for the museum that starts with a tribute tasting of the vineyards of Southern Ontario and New York State.
While sipping some of the regional selections, guests will be treated to a preview showing of firearms and artifacts from an upcoming exhibit at the museum called “By Fire and Sword: The War in the Niagara Theatre 1812-1814”. History and wine buffs, and supporters of The Buffalo History Museum will get a chance to participate in a silent auction, taste some delectable foods, and listen to premiere jazz music featuring the sounds of The George Caldwell Quintet with Bobby Militello. Not to mention the experience of being hosted within the walls of the historic Lafayette Hotel.
