TEDxBuffalo is currently holding an open “audition” period in which the organizers are accepting two minute pitches for talks for this year’s event and we are looking to reach as broad an audience as we can. The theme of the conference is “Renaissance Citizens”. “TEDxBuffalo is a gathering of remarkable minds,” said Chaz Adams, TEDxBuffalo Organizer. “Each with a unique and inspiring message to share. While the speakers, volunteers, and organizers may come from all walks of life, they have one powerful thing in common: a great love for our beautiful city.”
“One of the greatest strengths of our city is the overwhelming sense of community,” Chaz continued. “We hope to take advantage of the connection that Western New Yorkers share by calling for recommendations and nominations in addition to self-submitted pitches to speak at TEDxBuffalo 2013. We’re looking for individuals who have inspiring stories or grand ideas that they’d like to present in front of the change-makers of our city – that’s who sits in the audience at TEDxBufalo or watches the videos at home – the people who are going to try to lift the city up as high as it can go.”
