Monthly Mixer: Out for Business

Buffalo LGBT professionals are invited to attend Pride Center of WNY’s Monthly Mixer on Wednesday April 17 from 5pm-7pm. The mixer is designed to introduce LGBT professionals to one another in order to create awareness of increased LGBT initiatives in the community. It’s a chance to see what the alternative climate is in Buffalo, who is working on what projects, and where the LGBT businesses can be found. It’s a chance for local businesses and organizations to get the word out, and to promote their initiatives in a laid back, social setting.

Each month Pride Center of WNY hosts the mixer at a Buffalo business location, in the hope that more doors will open for those who are looking “to develop professional contacts and resources.”
This week the mixer will be held at Madonna’s in Allentown, a relatively new restaurant within a district of Buffalo that has always been supportive of the LGBT community (see more). There are myriad gay bars in Allentown, making the district a hub for alternative nightlife in Western New York. Come join other LGBT professionals and share your thoughts and ideas with others who are interested in making the alternative business climate in Buffalo as strong and welcoming as possible.
