Don’t be alarmed if, when you’re out grabbing a cup of coffee this morning, you run into people walking around in their undies in public. That’s because Saturday is the Buffalo Undy 5000, a running race where over 1000 participants sport boxers and briefs while running a 5k in Delaware Park.
The event is meant to garner publicity and money for colon cancer, and this is the second year that the race is scheduled to take place (see Facebook).
Money raised at the 5K race goes towards providing screenings to those who do not have health insurance and can’t afford the service.
