11th annual Dining Out For Life

Choose a restaurant, make reservations and enjoy dinner there. That’s all you have to do in order to support a deserving cause – Evergreen Health Services of WNY (formerly AIDS Community Services).
On Tuesday, April 9, upwards of 100 restaurants will be participating in the 11th annual Dining Out For Life community fund-raiser. “All you have to donate is your appetite,” he said. “The restaurants take it from there,” said event chairman Tom Lombardo Jr., partner/beverage manager at North Buffalo’s Ristorante Lombardo. “Thanks to our hometown restaurant owners, managers, chefs and wait staffs, this has become a successful community-wide fund-raiser. We encourage groups of families and friends to get together for a fun night out with an important purpose.”
Since the event first launched in Buffalo, area restaurants have raised a whopping $704,000, merely by donating a portion of the food sales to the cause.
Participating restaurants range from fine dining to casual. For a complete list of area restaurants, visit, or call 716-847-0340.
